To influence others and be understood, you must communicate clearly. The words you choose, the environment, and your physical composure all affect how your messages are received and interpreted. This workshop focuses primarily on face-to-face and other non-written communications, exploring all of the components that factor into how your messages are received and interpreted. Role-plays throughout the program will allow you to practice and receive feedback on your communications.

  • Describe the components of effective communication
  • Select the appropriate mode for communicating a message
  • Plan messages that meet their audience’s needs
